An original abstract figurative painting created in Colorado, this 30×40 work on gesso board is presented in a warm cedar floater frame and layered with texture and quiet mark-making. Soft neutrals, gold foil accents and hand-drawn details create a restrained, contemplative presence that integrates effortlessly into modern, considered interiors.
This large abstract wall art and neutral contemporary painting is designed to complement curated luxury home decor and gallery-quality spaces. The surface reveals subtle interactions of acrylic, salt, pencil and marker, along with the handwritten phrase, “A tentative step into the noise. Parenthood’s Entry,” woven into the composition.
I frequently paint over previous works; this is the third painting on this surface.
I have been a professional painter since 2012, with pieces installed in public spaces and private homes across the globe, and regularly sourced by interior designers. Originally from Texas, I have lived and worked in Colorado since 2016, and designers regularly select my work for curated residential and commercial interiors.
The combination of materials, craftsmanship, and provenance supports the value of this gallery-quality original.
Returns
Due to the fragile, textured nature of this mixed media painting, returns are not accepted. Experience has shown that once artwork of this type is removed from its protective packaging, it can be difficult to safely repackage without risk of surface damage. Thank you for understanding and supporting original art.
